A D2C store with brand-first product pages and a checkout that takes UPI in India and cards from abroad.

Client: Hill & Hearth Spices (a fictional brand). This is a design exercise, not a real client project.

The brief

A fictional family spice brand from Karnataka that sells on marketplaces and wants a store of its own, for customers across India and Indian families living abroad.

What was going wrong

  • Marketplace fees eating into every order
  • No space to tell the brand’s story
  • Customers abroad unable to pay
  • Heavy product photos slowing every page

Payments for everyone

UPI and cards through Razorpay in India; Stripe and PayPal abroad, with prices in local currency.
